Research for Music Video: Preparation for the Music Video

Every member of our group has never taken part in recreating or making our own music video prior to making our prelim, apart from Stefan. The fact we had a member that has worked in the field of music videos benefited our group as he knows about base tracks and to apply them to music video.
As preparation we were required to make a story board and make a shot type write up, this was really useful as we were rein-acting Katy B's music video to 'Louder', we constantly referred back to our shot type sheet, so the filming process was made much easier as we understood all the different shot types in detail. All of us were apprehensive about having to make our music video like Katy B's as we never realised how much work through recording and editing actually went into the making of music videos. Many, many different shots were used in Katy's video, at first we thought we wouldn't be able to recreate it as it looked extremely challenging, but teamwork pulled us through and we are all proud of our prelim.

Filming proved to be quite difficult, but after filming our base track many times we got to grips with the camera.
Grace learning her lyrics. it only took her two days to learn!
